Lobster Pot is a comfortable holiday home and really is home from home with everything you need to enjoy a wonderful holiday in this beautiful area of the UK.
Downstairs Space
Front door opens into hallway with staircase to upstairs and downstairs loo
Kitchen/dining room, Living Room and small conservatory
- The kitchen is well stocked and includes washing up liquid, pods for the dishwasher and cloths, cupboard non perishable basics like tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, condiments, tin foil, cling film and kitchen roll. There is a radio, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and toaster. There is a table seating 6 with 4 chairs and 2 stools.
- The Living room has a 40 inch smart TV with freeview and Netflix. Books and games are in the living room. There is a gas stove replicating a wood burner, to compliment the central heating. There are 2 comfortable 3 seater sofas.
- The conservatory is small with 2 comfy seats and a bench
Upstairs Space
3 bedrooms, 2 with king size beds and one with two singles. All bedding is provided and beds are made up. All beds have memory foam toppers for added comfort.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and there is a large corner bath. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and enough loo rolls for your visit are provided.
Outdoor Space
- Enclosed garden with 6 foot fences/walls and gates that lock on the inside. The gate to the transpennine trail has a digital keypad for entry for added secutity. Garden furniture, parasol and BBQ area.
- There are 2 sheds for storage and one houses beach chairs and windbreaks that you may like to use.
Comfort and Safety
Lobster Pot is central heated with radiators in every room and a gas fire stove in the living room. You have full control of heating to ensure your comfort. It has an instant hot water boiler. There are smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and baby gates are at the top and bottom of the stairs. There are fire extinguishers at the top and bottom of the stairs and the kitchen has a fire extinguisher and fire blanket. We have a Fure Risk Assessment and comply with legislation. Free WiFi.
Dogs Very, Very Welcome
No charge for dogs. The beach is dog friendly all year with just a central section reserved for swimmers in summer. The cottage is very, very dog friendly with no restrictions.
For your dog there are stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs should you use them. If you need a crate just ask and we can provide one. The cottage has dog bowls, throws, towels, poo bags and treats. We allow multiple dogs to visit, numbers dependent on number of guests to ensure a comfortable stay.
Additional Notes
- Towels and tea towels are not provided - please take your own
- Also available are beach chairs, windbreaks, buckets spades, beach games and boogy boards.
- Driveway for off street parking for 2 cars and another car if needed can be on the road outside the house - it is cul de sac so no one else would park there but you.
- Check in after 2.30pm and check out before 10.30am- if changeover is quicker than 2.30pm a text will be sent so if you wish you can have access a little earlier
- We use a key safe and the code will be sent to you a few days before your arrival. Just use the key safe to access the key and then when you've finished your holiday pop it through the letterbox. Spare keys will be in the house so that other people visiting with you can have a key too.
